Karen M. McCloskey, MD

Description

Karen McCloskey, MD was born and raised in NJ and attended Williams College, where she played softball all four years, and was co-captain her senior year. After college, she worked in the finance industry for nearly 8 years in NYC before deciding on a career change and going into medicine. She completed her medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, followed by an Internal Medicine residency at NYU Langone/Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan and a fellowship in endocrinology at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. After her fellowship, Dr. McCloskey worked at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA and was a Clinical Instructor in endocrinology at Harvard Medical School. Outside of work, she still enjoys playing and watching softball (and baseball), traveling, hiking and refinishing furniture.
