She specializes in the comprehensive surgical care of patients with breast cancer, benign breast disease and high-risk breast conditions, including individuals with significant family history or genetic predisposition. Her approach to breast surgery emphasizes evidence-based medicine, oncologic precision, thoughtful aesthetics and a strong commitment to patient-centered care. Dr. Wolchok performs the full spectrum of breast surgical procedures, including lumpectomy (partial mastectomy), total mastectomy, skin-sparing mastectomy, nipple-sparing mastectomy, sentinel lymph node biopsy and axillary lymph node dissections. She works closely with reconstructive plastic surgeons to ensure optimal oncologist care while preserving natural form and symmetry whenever possible. Her surgical approach incorporates advanced localization methods as well as modern oncoplastic and Hidden Scar techniques designed to minimize visible scarring and support both functional and aesthetic outcomes. Her clinical expertise includes the surgical management of breast cancer, atypical breast lesions, lobular carcinoma in situ (LCIS), papillomas and papillomatosis, radial scars, fibroadenomas, fibroepithelial lesions and nipple discharge. She is committed to delivering precise, individualized care using contemporary breast-conserving and reconstructive surgical techniques. Dr. Wolchok practices within a multidisciplinary model of breast care, collaborating closely with breast imaging specialists, pathologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, genetic counselors and reconstructive surgeons to ensure that every patient receives coordinated, evidence-based care. She believes strongly in the humanism of medicine and the importance of shared, informed decision-making. Dr. Wolchok is dedicated to guiding patients and their families through the breast cancer journey with compassion, clarity and access to comprehensive resources. She chose to practice in this region because of the vibrant international community. Through her clinical work, she has had the opportunity to treat individuals and their families from more than 30 countries. She values learning from diverse cultures and perspectives while providing the highest standard of breast care to patients from all backgrounds, and she is committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for every patient she serves. Outside of medicine, Dr. Wolchok is an artist and photographer who values the restorative power of movement and nature. These perspectives shape her philosophy that surgery is both a science and an art — requiring technical precision, thoughtful attention to form and anatomy and a deep respect for the patient experience.
