Kathleen O. Maxfield, MD

Description

Kathleen Maxfield, MD is a board-certified, fellowship-trained vascular surgeon. She is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed her general surgery residency at the University of New Mexico Hospital - School of Medicine. She completed her fellowship in vascular surgery at Vanderbilt University – Department of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. Before her medical studies, Dr. Maxfield earned a Master of Arts in Anthropology at the University of Wyoming Department of Anthropology and holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology. Dr. Maxfield is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a registered physician in vascular interpretation. Before joining Nuvance Health Danbury Vascular Specialists, she worked in New Hampshire and Montana. She enjoys the long-term relationship that she develops with her patients and working with them collaboratively to develop the best treatment plan for each patient.
