Dr. Daniel Labow is a fellowship-trained surgeon and the Carmen L. and Peter Buck Endowed Chair of Surgery at Northwell Health. He specializes in surgical oncology and cares for patients with primary and metastatic malignancies including esophageal, gastric (stomach), pancreas, bile duct, gallbladder, colon and rectal cancers as well as melanoma and sarcomas. Dr. Labow also cares for patients with primary and metastatic liver cancer, offering the latest surgical techniques, including histotripsy. Histotripsy is a new noninvasive treatment for liver tumors that doesn’t require any incisions or radiation. He also has an international reputation for using HIPEC (heated intraperitoneal chemotherapy) to treat metastatic malignancies.
