Emily Schwarz is a board-certified physician assistant (PA) by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. In addition to being a PA, Emily also holds an additional credential as a registered dietitian (RD) certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, with her previous career as the lead registered dietitian at an eating disorder treatment facility. The unique blend of these two credentials has allowed Emily to hold the skills necessary to provide comprehensive and patient-centered care in gastroenterology. She is skilled in how nutrition aids in disease prevention, rehabilitation and management of chronic disease. She is also equipped to identify nutrition risk and how this can also aid in disease prevention.
