Marianne Mitchell, APRN

Description

Marianne is a nurse practitioner who has worked for Danbury Hospital for more than 35 years, 30 of those in the pulmonary department. Marianne's pulmonary background has made her a strong advocate for patients with lung diseases and smoking cessation. She helped spearhead Danbury Hospital's efforts to become a smoke-free campus and has been a certified tobacco treatment specialist since 2010. Marianne started and has been running the "Quit Now" smoking cessation for the last 18 years. She also sees outpatient pulmonary and sleep patients in the office. She lives in Brookfield with her husband and kids, and enjoys running and anything summer-related.
