Heath A. Walden, MD

Dr. Walden is the chief of acute care surgery at Danbury Hospital, joining Nuvance Health in January 2020. He trained at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center – Harvard School of Medicine and Hofstra North Shore – LIJ School of Medicine. He believes that trauma and acute care surgery is a team sport. It is not one physician that saves you, but rather a collaborative team of doctors, advanced practice providers, nurses, PCTs, physical therapists and case managers that leads to excellent outcomes. He enjoys spending his free time with his friends and family.
